I'm happy to say that chapter 8 of DOE is up! It took WAY too long, but it's now done and out the door! You'll also notice the chapter naming scheme has changed. I've eliminated the ending "s" from every chapter title, and I did that to signify the story shifting into a more active gear. A "Part 2" as it were. After much deliberation, I've decided to remove the Death House Arc from the story, for now. Considering it's been getting in the way of what I wanted to write, I will be removing the Death House chapters and edit the Burgomaster Chapter's ending.

That's not to say it is gone completely. I will be saving those chapters for use later, if the flow of the story can work with it. From here on, expect more consistent updates in the near future (provided next year doesn't screw me over).
